It was my turn to drive the car pool to Marshalltown. And the drive home sucked. But to my joy we got out early from school. I was lucky enough to follow a semi who took out all of the drifts in the road. So all in all a good day.

So I've been wanting to buy a Ukulele for some time. Last week a student came up to me and told me that I could have his Ukulele. His girlfriend broke up with him and he didn't want anything that his girlfriend gave him. So he gave it to me. So I still have yet to buy a musical instrument.

I've been reading all the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books. I've really enjoyed reading them and recommend them to anybody if they need a fun fiction book to read.
So what are the books about you might ask.
It's the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson's Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they're not happy: Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy's mother. As Percy finds himself caught between angry and battling gods, he and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy's mom, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.
